Blaze Bayley

Before joining Iron Maiden, Blaze Bayley fronted Wolfsbane, a British hard rock band formed in 1984. Known for their energetic live shows, they caught the attention of Rick Rubin, who signed them to Def American for their 1989 debut Live Fast, Die Fast. After supporting Maiden on tour in 1990, Bayley auditioned for and landed the Maiden gig in 1994, leading Wolfsbane to disband. After leaving Maiden in 1999, Bayley launched a successful independent solo career. He released acclaimed albums like Silicon Messiah before partnering with the UK metal band Absolva as his permanent backing team. Alongside his solo tours, Bayley also fronted a revived Wolfsbane starting in 2010, maintaining a dedicated global fanbase through relentless touring.
