Metalworks

Formed 1990
Metalworks is a London rock and heavy metal collective originally founded in the early 1990s by frontman and vocalist Steff "Vox" (AKA The Colonel) alongside guitarist Tony Parsons, an early member of Iron Maiden. Famous for their decades-long Sunday night residency in Camden—most notably at the iconic Underworld and The Monarch—the group operates as a dynamic, fluid rock house-band that delivers high-energy covers of classic rock and heavy metal standards. Over the years, their revolving stage line-up has featured world-class musicians, including guitarists Richie Faulkner (who played with Metalworks for years before joining Judas Priest), Matt Pearce (Voodoo Six), Pete Friesen (Alice Cooper, Bruce Dickinson), and Dave Rimmer (Uriah Heep), as well as the late Les Binks of Judas Priest on drums. Metalworks is also renowned on the UK rock circuit for hosting unannounced guest jam sessions with touring heavyweights, having shared the stage with the likes of Paul Di'Anno and Nicko McBrain (Iron Maiden), Scott Travis (Judas Priest), Adam Ant, and members of Europe.
