Artist profile
Alestorm
Alestorm is a Scottish power metal band formed in Perth (Scotland) in 2004 by front-man Christopher Bowes.
Dubbing their sound "True Scottish Pirate Metal," the group combines fast, melodic power metal and folk melodies with humorous, pirate-themed lyrics about sailing, questing, and drinking. Signed to Napalm Records, they gained international recognition following their 2008 debut album, Captain Morgan's Revenge, and are known for their eccentric, high-energy live shows.
