The Eagle & Tun is a pub in the Digbeth district of Birmingham, the pub is a well-known UB40 pilgrimages because of it's strong links with the band.
The album cover photo for The Best of Ub40 Vol.1 was taken in the bar of the Eagle & Tun Pub, which is located just over the road from the Abbatoir Studios in Birmingham where UB40 recorded most of their songs.
The pub also features in the music video for the track Red Red Wine, showing lead singer Ali Campbell being unlucky in love and drenching his sorrows at the pub.
According to a report from a local resident in July 2008, the pub is closed and boarded up.
