The street where Johnny Rotten grew up

Johnny Rotten singer of the Sex Pistols, real name John Joseph Lydon, grew up in this street.

In his autobiography No Irish, No Blacks, No Dogs he tells of growing up in what was then a working-class slum area of London. The title of his biography derives from a sign some English shop owners would put in their shop windows.
